Describe the people you want, in plain words
A segment is a rule, not a copy of your list. Write it as rows of plain English — or tell Talaria the audience you want and edit the draft it writes back — and watch the count while you build.
Talaria drafts it; every row stays yours
Type the audience you want as a sentence. What comes back is an ordinary rule, in the same rows you would have built by hand, and you review, change and save it exactly as if you had.
A rule, re-read every time
A segment holds no people. It is a question asked of your profiles at the moment it is used, so somebody who qualifies today is in it today, and somebody who stops qualifying is out of it without anybody tidying up.
The count says when it was counted
A number that has never been worked out says so rather than showing a zero, and a number you are looking at carries the time it was taken.
How it works
1. Say who you want
In a sentence to Talaria, or by adding conditions yourself. Groups combine with OR inside a group and AND between them.
2. Watch the count
It updates beside the rule as you edit, over everyone in your store’s confirmed base, so a condition that empties the segment tells you immediately instead of at send time.
3. Use it
As a campaign’s audience, as the people a form is shown to, or on its own, to see who is actually in it.
