Analytics

Analytics is where you look at what happened after you sent.

The section opens on a page of cards, one per screen underneath it, each with one live number. A card whose number could not be worked out says so rather than showing a zero it never measured.

The two numbers below cover the last 7 days, the same week the home screen uses. The screens behind the cards carry their own periods.

The emails you sent in the last 7 days, and behind the card, what they did — delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, marked spam.

A refusal is an email you asked for that the product declined to send, with the reason written down. Nothing is dropped quietly: the card counts the refusals of the last 7 days, and the screen behind it groups them by reason.

Refusals are worth reading rather than clearing. Most of them are the product keeping a promise for you — somebody who never said yes, an address that already bounced, an address carrying a permanent do-not-email record, a profile nothing has confirmed. The number going up usually says something about where your profiles came from, not that sending is broken.

Everything trackable to a profile: what your store reports, what your storefront reports, what you send through the app yourself, and what your own sending records. The number counts the metrics your store has, and the screen behind it lets you chart any one of them and read the events underneath.
